High-Pressure Hydro Jetting for Clogged Systems in Jefferson, Athens & Gainesville, GA
Powerful Water Cleaning for Grease, Sludge & Stubborn Blockages
What is jetting?
Hydro jetting is an advanced, high-pressure water cleaning method that clears out grease, sludge, and stubborn blockages from septic and plumbing systems. It is the safest and most effective way to restore proper flow in pipes, keeping your septic system running smoothly in Jefferson, Athens, Gainesville, and surrounding areas.
Key Benefits
✔ Clears Stubborn Clogs: High-pressure water removes debris & buildup
✔ Prevents Future Blockages: Stops grease & sludge from forming again
✔ Safe for Pipes: Gentle on your plumbing, unlike traditional methods
✔ Eco-Friendly Solution: No chemicals, just powerful water pressure
How Hydro Jetting Works
Hydro jetting uses a hose with a special nozzle that sprays water at very high pressure. We feed the hose into the line from a cleanout. The water scours the inside of the pipe and pushes grease, sludge, roots and debris down the line and out. The pipe is left clean from wall to wall, not just poked through in the middle.
A plumbing snake or auger can punch a hole through a clog. That gets water moving for a while, but the buildup on the pipe walls stays behind. Jetting cleans the whole pipe, so the line flows better and stays clear longer.
When Hydro Jetting Makes Sense
A main line that keeps clogging after it has been snaked
Grease buildup in kitchen lines
Sludge or scale built up inside older pipes
Roots that have started to grow into a line
Slow drains all through the house
Lines between the house and the septic tank that are backing up
Restaurant and business lines that see heavy grease
Jetting and Septic Systems
In homes on septic, the line from the house to the tank can fill with grease and soap scum over time. Jetting clears it so waste can flow to the tank the way it should. We can also jet some drain field lines to clear buildup, depending on the type of system and the shape the lines are in.
Before we jet, we often run a camera down the line. That shows us what is causing the clog and if the pipe is strong enough to jet. If a pipe is cracked, crushed or broken, jetting will not fix it. In that case we will talk to you about repair instead.
Is Hydro Jetting Safe for My Pipes?
For pipes in good shape, yes. We pick the right nozzle and pressure for the type and size of pipe. Very old or damaged pipes need a gentler plan, and that is why we look first. We will never jet a line we think it could hurt.
Keep Your Lines Clear After Jetting
Do not pour grease, oil or fat down the drain
Use drain screens in sinks and tubs
Keep wipes and paper towels out of the toilet
Run hot water after using the kitchen sink
Pump your septic tank every three to five years if you are on septic
Hydro Jetting Questions
How long does jetting take? Most home lines can be cleaned in one visit. Longer or badly clogged lines can take more time.
Will jetting make a mess in my house? No. We work from a cleanout, often outside, and the water and debris go down the line.
How often should lines be jetted? Most homes only need it when there is a problem. Businesses with heavy grease may need it on a schedule.

Jetting for Homes on Septic
If your home is on septic, the line from the house to the tank carries everything you send down the drain. Grease from the kitchen and soap from the laundry can coat that line over time. When it narrows, waste moves slowly and can back up into the house. Jetting clears that line so the tank gets what it should.
We often pair jetting with a septic tank pump out. Pumping removes the solids from the tank, and jetting clears the line feeding it. Together they give your system a fresh start.
Jetting for Businesses
Restaurants, shops and other businesses with heavy kitchen use can build up grease fast. A clogged line can shut down a kitchen or a restroom at the worst time. Jetting on a regular schedule can help keep lines clear and avoid surprise backups. Call us to talk about what makes sense for your business.
